Corno unveils three charcoal drawings from her private collection

Posted on November 14, 2016 by Charles Giraud | 1 Comment

A remarkable series of original works by Corno will be unveiled at AKA Gallery November 24, 2016. These classic charcoal drawings stem from the artists’s personal collection making them all the more unique. Corno’s style and power are contained in these drawings though in a lighter and more rarified manner. The energy is concentrated in the body forms with intense black lines and surfaces that create the only density to emerge from these creations. Their raw elegance will be sure to touch many contemporary art lovers.
