From December 4 until the end of the month, Corno will exhibit a collection of spectacular paintings and prints at the Markowicz Fine Art Gallery in Miami. This exhibit coincides with the renowned Art Basel Event in Miami Beach and is sure to attract a spectrum of art lovers from around the world. Corno`s works will be unveiled during opening night on December 4th!
At Art Basel, artworks created by different caliber artists from all around the world are showcased in an extravagant event setting. First established in Switzerland in the city of Basel then exported to Miami in 2002, followed by Hong Kong in 2013, the event has remained the world's largest, most popular and prestigious art fair. The Art Basel Miami Beach edition takes place every year around the beginning of December.
This year, Corno exhibits during Art Basel Miami. Her new paintings were created specially for this event. This collection includes some fabulous new faces and torsos for which Corno is so famously known, as well as a series of abstract still lifes. This new direction integrates her signature bold and gestural brushstrokes with delicate organic forms, reflecting a turning point in the artist`s style, technique and approach. These new works reveal Corno`s amazing capacity for perpetual rebirth and renewal.
