Nouvelle Oeuvre, Nouvelle Technique
La semaine dernière Corno dévoilait une nouvelle œuvre qui nécessitait une «Installation Lenticulaire» créant l’illusion de profondeur et de mouvement. Cette œuvre a été conçue à partir de quatre tableaux représentant des torses d’hommes sur fond rouge . Ces toiles originales font 48 po x 60 po, et elles sont disponibles à la Galerie AKA, dans le Vieux Montréal.

Corno recently created 4 new paintings of sculpted male torsos, contrasted by intense red backgrounds. The series was then used to create a powerful installation, comprising the 4 angles of the male torso paintings. The installation is referred to as Lenticular Printing, which gives the illusion of depth and movement, based on the angle one views it from. While the installation has found a new home, the original paintings from which it was derived can still be viewed (and enjoyed) at AKA Gallery in the Old Port of Montreal.
